NFC stands for near field communication. It is a short-range communication device. It uses RFID (Radio-frequency identification) technology, which uses electromagnetic induction to transmit data.
A few years back I came to know about this technology and it was so fascinating to me that I bought a low-end NFC phone. I bought some NFC stickers from Amazon and created a few cool stuff with it. I had the feeling that this technology will soon revolutionize the world as it could transmit data without power supply. Though, the size of information stored in NFC chips were minuscule but had huge potential for future advancement.
